Core Drilling

In many construction projects, there is a need to create holes in hard surfaces such as concrete, stone, asphalt, and masonry. Core Drilling is a safe and fast way to produce holes with a consistent diameter in these kinds of materials. Commonly used to create openings for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC installations, this type of drilling creates precise holes without impacting the surrounding structures or causing vibration damage. Holes can be drilled up to 72 inches in diameter and to almost any depth.

Concrete Coring Applications

Core drilling can be done on walls, ceilings, and floors. Some typical applications include:

  • Floor drains
  • Sewer drains
  • Sewer tie-ins
  • HVAC openings
  • Phone, electrical, cable, and fiber optic openings
  • Handrail and anchor holes
